Gasu will visit Oregon on December 1st.

Spencer Gasu's team lost a heart breaker last night, but as far as Spencer's future goes, he's pretty solid on where he's going to go on to school.

Santa College lost to Saddleback JC, 35-14 last night and in that game Spencer played on the opposite side of the ball that he's used to.

"They moved me to offensive line for this game, but I do play defense still," Gasu said. "They pretty much got me going both ways now."

Football-wise Gasu, 6-2, 315, sees his strengths as being very quick for a man his size. He runs the 40-yard dash in 4.8 seconds, bench presses 375 pounds, squats 475 and has a power clean of 300 pounds.

As far as recruiting goes, while there have been calls from Utah, Oregon State, California, Kansas State and Tennessee, he's now solid on where he wants to move on to after Santa Ana.

"Pretty much a strong commitment to be honest, Oregon has been loyal to me for quite some time now." Gasu said of his recruitment. "I don't see anything changing. I really don't see myself going anywhere else but Oregon. I think Oregon is a new powerhouse, and I see them in the future doing really well."

He didn't have a chance to watch Oregon's win over Arizona State yesterday as he was involved in his own game.

Gasu says the Ducks first started recruited him out of high school and have kept in contact since. He expects to be finished with Santa Ana College in May 2008. Oregon assistant John Neal has been his recruiter and Gasu is planning on visiting Oregon on December 1, for the Civil War game against Oregon State.
