Men Sign Five Acclaimed Players to NLI

EUGENE, Ore. — Five high school players rated among the best at their positions nationally have signed National Letters of Intent with Oregon, head coach Ernie Kent announced Wednesday.

Oregon's recruiting class has been ranked No. 7 nationally by Hoop Scoop, run by Clark Francis, and 11th nationally by both and (Dave Telep).

Three of the signees are from Chicago: Josh Crittle, Michael Dunigan and Matthew Humphrey. The other two are Drew Wiley of Springfield, Ore., and Teondre Williams of Norcross, Ga.

Josh Crittle, 6-8, 260, F/C, Chicago, Ill., Hales Franciscan High School

"Gradually turning himself into one of the elite players at his position. Offense has been coming around and he's cranking up the aggression. The talent is there, the strides are being made and frankly he's one of the largest kids in the Class of 2008. He could be a beast."
