Clemens finished the day throwing 14-for-31, 162 yards, one touchdown and an interception in helping the Jets improving to 2-8 while the Steelers slip to 7-3. Clemens also had a rush for 15 yards.
Adam Snyder started at left tackle and safety Keith Lewis played for the San Francisco 49ers (2-8) but the St. Louis Rams (2-8) won, 13-9.
Running back Maurice Morris rushed for 87 yards and a touchdown helping the Seattle Seahawks (6-4) to a 30-23-win over the Chicago Bears. Morris carried the ball 18 times and also had a pass reception for 19 yards. The loss drops Chicago to 4-6.
In a last gasp effort to score Samie Parker took a lateral and carried for 5-yards but the Kansas City Chiefs (4-6) lost 13-10 to the Indianapolis Colts. The Colts are now 8-2 for the year.
Tight end George Wrighster had five receptions for 47 yards with a long of 36 as the Jacksonville Jaguars (7-3) beat the San Diego Chargers, 24-17. Igor Olshansky had a tackle for the Chargers who fall to 5-5 for the year.
A.J. Feeley came in off the bench to throw 116 yards on 13-for-19 effort with one touchdown and one interception for the Philadelphia Eagles (5-5) in a 17-7 over the winless Miami Dolphins. Justin Peelle had two catches for 27 yards for Dolphins.
Reuben Droughns had 13 yards on 11 carries for the New York Giants (7-3) in a win over the 6-4 Detroit Lions.
The Baltimore Ravens (4-6) fell to the Cleveland Browns (6-4) by a score of 33-30. Defensive tackle Haloti Ngata had a solo tackle and an assist for the Ravens and his teammate wide receiver Demetrius Williams was listed as Not Active for the game.
After the Bryon Leftwich threw two interceptions and lost two fumbles, Joey Harrington was brought in off the bench but the helpless Atlanta Falcons (3-7) lost 31-7 to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Harrington threw for 139 yards on 16-for-20, one touchdown and no interceptions. Leftwich was 15-for-28, 106 yards and two interceptions. Tampa Bay's Josh Bidwell punted five balls for a 39.2-yard average, with three inside the 20 and a long of 61.
