Another 4-Star DL to visit.

Kyle Caldwell, 6-3, 265 pound defensive lineman from Scottsdale (Ariz.) Saguaro is the top player in the state this year and one of the elite lineman on the West Coast on either side of the ball. Caldwell was a Student Sports Junior All-American a year ago and after four games this season, Caldwell has 47 tackles, seven quarterback sacks and eight quarterback hurries.

Caldwell says he's still open among all the schools that are recruiting him but with three official trips set up, it's evident he's narrowed his list down.

"I've schedules official visits to Oregon (Nov. 29), Nebraska (Dec. 13) and UCLA (Jan. 10)," Caldwell told BruinReportOnline. "I'm actually in the process of setting up a trip with Notre Dame right now and then the fifth visit I don't know where that will be yet."

He may not trip there officially, but expect Arizona State to be a serious player for Caldwell. Not only did both of his parents attend ASU, his father played for the Sun Devils in the early 80s.

As for setting the visit with the Irish, Notre Dame's big banquet weekend is December 6 and they have studs from all over the country setting their visit for that weekend. We're sure that's the weekend they would like Caldwell to visit but Saguaro is one of the top teams in the state and could be in the playoffs that weekend.

Caldwell is rated four-stars by and is the No. 11 ranked defensive tackle nationally.
