Jeremiah Masoli, 6-0, 205 was a late surprise to the Ducks' 2008 recruiting class. When National Letter of Intent Day rolled around last February, few Oregon fans had ever heard of Masoli unless they followed junior college football. In that case they knew that Masoli was the hottest quarterback in the JC ranks by leading CCSF to theJC Grid-Wire National Championship.
Masoli threw for 3,592 yards, 30 touchdowns and a quarterback efficiency rating of 154.09. He also rushed for 448 yards and 11 touchdowns.
It was a surprise to most that the quarterback (that is now rated as a 5-star player) who could go anywhere chose Oregon as the place he wants to spend the next three years.
Since Masoli did not use a redshirt, he has four years to complete his three remaining years of eligibility.
Masoli took some time off before one of his team workouts to talk to media about coming to Oregon.
Masoli Happy To Be Competing
