The U.S. National Team squad is 52-1 on its tour that started in mid-February with its only blemish a 1-0 no-hit loss to Virginia Tech's Angela Tincher.

The Colville, Wash., native Rice was the Ducks' Pitching MVP her freshman and sophomore seasons in 2006 and '07, and will again be one of the team's top returnees in 2009. On the all-time UO pitching charts, she ranks top-10 all-time for UO in shutouts (sixth, 16), wins (seventh, 40), innings (eighth, 445.1), strikeouts (eighth, 280) and complete games (ninth, 37)
