Limited Single-Game Tickets on Sale Friday

EUGENE – Single-game reserved tickets for all six of the University of Oregon's 2008 home football games will go on sale to the general public beginning at midnight Friday (July 18), according to the Ducks' Assistant Athletics Director for Ticket Sales Garrett Klassy.

Reserved seats for the Aug. 30 season opener vs. Washington will cost $66, while home games against Boise State (Sept. 9), UCLA (Oct. 11), Stanford (Nov. 8) and Arizona (Nov. 15) are priced at $54 each. Tickets for Oregon's Sept. 6 non-conference contest vs. Utah State are $39 each.

The Ducks' Aug. 30 home opener against the Huskies is scheduled for a 7 p.m. kickoff.

Sales for all six home games will begin on-line at midnight Friday morning via the athletics department's official website, www.GoDucks.com. Tickets also may be purchased beginning at 9 a.m. Friday by calling (541) 346-4481 or 1-800-WEBFOOT, as well as in person at the Casanova Center Athletics Ticket Office.

Only single seats remain for games vs. Washington, Boise State and UCLA. On the other hand, Oregon will offer an on-line special that allows purchasers of four or more tickets for games against Stanford or Arizona to buy four or more tickets to the Utah State game at $20.00 each.

Also new this year will be an opportunity for fans to save up to $4 per game for those choosing to print their tickets at home rather than have them mailed or left at Will Call. There will be a $1 per-game charge added to orders that include a Print-At-Home delivery option, while tickets left at Will Call will be subject to a charge of $4 per order and fans desiring tickets to be mailed will be charged $5 per game.

Oregon has exceeded 44,000 season tickets sold for the first time in school history, with the current number of 44,182 football season tickets sold marking the 11th consecutive year the Ducks have eclipsed the previous school record for season ticket sales. In addition, they will open the 2008 season riding a string of 55 straight sellouts in Autzen Stadium.

Tickets for five of Oregon's six road games also will be available beginning Friday, with the Ducks' allotment of tickets for the Nov. 29 regular-season finale at Oregon State already sold out. Tickets for Oregon's road games at Purdue (Sept. 13), Washington State (Sept. 27), USC (Oct. 4), Arizona State (Oct. 25) and California (Nov. 1) can be purchased at that time and will be distributed at a later date.
