Photos from Oregon's blow-out of Utah State

The Oregon Ducks dismantled the Utah State Aggies on Saturday afternoon. Despite harsh light and a predictable outcome there were some photos to be had. Enjoy and keep your fingers crossed that JJ's stiff arm will be back next week.

The hard hitting started early as Jerome Boyd (13) hits Derrick Cumbee (5) so hard his feet leave the ground. The Ducks held Utah State to 2.8 yards per carry for the game. (Photo by Chris Wilson)

LeGarrette Blount (9) was the player of the game, finishing with 132 yards on 18 carries and two touchdowns. Here he hurdles James Brindley (3) for a short gain. (Photo by Chris Wilson)

Spencer Paysinger (35) did his part, filling a large gap on this play to stop Utah State's Robert Turbin (6) in his tracks. (Photo by Chris Wilson).

Who said Justin Roper can't run? Call it a scramble, call it a rumble, call it what you will…he picked up 16 yards on this carry. He also threw the ball with extreme efficiency going 13 for 19 for 172 yards with a TD and one pick. (Photo by Chris Wilson)

Terence Scott had another solid game, here making a touchdown catch and later going 51 yards on the end around for a score.(Photo by Chris Wilson)

Today was Walter Thurmond's day to honor the memory of Todd Doxey – notice his number and the lack of his name on the jersey. (Photo by Chris Wilson)

The Duck defense didn't always get to slippery Utah State quarterback Diondre Borel (12), but here T.J. Ward makes a great tackle on the sideline. (Photo by Chris Wilson)

Jerome Boyd (13) and Nick Reed (49) combined for one of the Ducks' four sacks on the day. (Photo by Chris Wilson)

Utah State's Daryl Fields (47) learned what many teams will learn this season – you can't arm tackle Chris Harper (3). Harper made it into the endzone for the second game in a row.

Even when the game was no longer in doubt, the Ducks didn't stop hitting. Marvin Johnson (1) lays the wood to Utah State's Tarren Lloyd (90).
