Week 1 for NFL Ducks

The first week saw several Ducks in action. A former Duck tight end was the hero when he caught a touchdown pass on the last play of the game.

Rosario was the Panther's leading receiver with seven catches for 96 yards and the touchdown. Rookie teammate Jonathan Stewart had 10 carries for 53 yards.

On the not active was Reuben Droughns but the New York Giants still won 16-7 over Washington Redskins.

Demetrius Williams had one catch for 3 yards and teammate Haloti Ngata, three tackles (two solos) for the Baltimore Ravens in a 17-10 win over the Cincinnati Bengals.

Maurice Morris had six carries for 31 yards with a long of 17. Jordan Kent was on the participation list, but Buffalo Bills were a 34-10 winner over Seattle Seahawks.

Kellen Clemens did not play but his New York Jets defeated the Miami Dolphins 20-14.

Atlanta Falcon tight end Justin Peelle had a catch for 13 yards as Atlanta defeats the Detroit Lions, 34-21.

Tampa Bay Buccaneer punter Josh Bidwell had eight punts averaging 44.1 yards, with four inside the 20, one touch back and a long of 61. The Bucs lost to the New Orleans Saints 24-20.

Quarterback A.J. Feeley was not on the Active roster but he did watch his Philadelphia Eagles dismantle the St. Louis Rams 38-3.

Another former Duck quarterback Dennis Dixon was also not active and his team the Pittsburgh Steelers dropped the Houston Texans 38-17.

Jacksonville Jaguar tight end George Wrighster is on the physically unable to perform (PUP) list and his team lost to the Tennessee Titans, 17-10.

San Francisco 49ers safety Keith Lewis had seven tackles (four solos) while teammate Adam Snyder started at left guard in the 49ers' 23-13 loss to the Arizona Cardinals.
