Ducks Roar Out to a 35-7 Lead at the Half

Pullman -- The Oregon Ducks capitalized on two Washington State Cougar turnovers for touchdowns in the first quarter and then added two more scores to take a 35-7 lead.

Sophomore quarterback Jeremiah Masoli was 8-for-14, 128 yards and touchdown leading the Duck offense. Jeremiah Johnson rushed for 74 yards and two touchdowns while his running mate LeGarrette Blount had 37 yards on eight carries and two touchdowns.

Senior Jaison Williams was the leader in pass receiving yardage with 69 on three catches including one touchdown grab. Terence Scott had four receptions for 48 yards. Sophomore Aaron Pflugrad, who went to high school in Pullman had one catch for 11 yards.

Patrick Chung led Duck defenders with nine tackles (six solos).

Oregon had a total of 286 yards in the first half while WSU racked up 145 yards.

Dwight Tardy had 25 yards net on nine carries. Quarterback Marshall Lobbestael was 14-for-22, 123 yards a touchdown pass to Jeshua Anderson. Brandon Gibson was the leading Cougar receiver with six catches for 59 yards. Anderson had a total of three receptions for 18 yards and Ben Woodard had two grabs for 21 yards.
