What we know so far.

So far this season, including this weekend's visitors, the Oregon Ducks have had four 5-stars, seven 4-stars, 12 3-stars a 2-star and a 1-star make official visits. This weekend two local players, Charles Siddoway and former South Eugene linebacker Boseko Lokombo along with Michael Philipp and Bryce McNeal are 4-star players visiting.

Last weekend the nation's top running back, Bryce Brown and the No. 1 safety Craig Loston were in town to check out the Ducks. Loston's high school teammate and high coveted wide receiver Jaz Reynolds along with another highly touted running back, Montrell Conner were also on hand for the Stanford game. Our sources tell us that the recruits enjoyed their trip and last Tuesday during his weekly media conference Oregon Head Coach Mike Bellotti mentioned that the visiting players had narrowed their choices down to Oregon and another school. Bellotti is prohibited by NCAA rules from directly talking about specific recruits, but by checking Scout's recruiting database it would seem Brown is favoring Oregon, Miami and possibly Missouri. Loston has likely narrowed his choice to Oregon or LSU. Reynolds could now have Oklahoma and Oregon as his finalists. While Conner also enjoyed his trip, Scout published a report indicating that he would stick with his commitment to Mississippi State because of the distance factor.

Scout has been attempting to interview all of last week's visitors but have been unsuccessful to this point. The top prospects often avoid being bothered with interviews.

This week in addition to Charles Siddoway, Boseko Lokombo, Michael Philipp and Bryce McNeal, we believe Vachel Samuels, Keith Price Jackson Powell and Terrance Brown will be on hand for the Arizona game tomorrow.
