All I Want for Christmas...

While many in the Portland area found road conditions beginning to improve after a snow storm that effectively shut the metropolitan area down for the last three days, the Ducks announced they have a late Christmas present for fans.

The 2008 Civil War that saw Oregon demolish Oregon State 65-38 will be re-shown. The game will be re-broadcast on Christmas day at 7:30 p.m. on Comcast Sports Net. The game will be presented again on New Year's Eve at 11:30 p.m.

The original Versus Network broadcast will be replayed also on Verizon, Bend Cable, Ashland Cable, Scio Cable, Monroe Telephone, Comcast Seattle, and Comcast Spokane.

While the folks in Oregon will be able to see the game again, the team will not as they leave for San Diego on Dec. 25th. Those team members that went home for Christmas have the option of either traveling with the team or rejoining the squad in San Diego on Dec. 26th.

The Ducks held the last practice in Eugene on Monday and will not put the pads on again until linking up again in San Diego. Daily practice reports from eDuck will be filed including highlights of the various activities the team will participate in during the Holiday Bowl festivities.
