5-Star LB Still Considering Ducks

Pasadena linebacker James Griffin (6-1, 205, 4.5) is one of the most highly coveted junior college players in the country and he just returned from his official visit to LSU.

"I had a good time," Griffin said. "It was a good visit. It felt like home. I got the chance to meet the players and the coaches were cool. They really showed me where I fit in at. They took it to an extreme."

Griffin committed to the Tigers back in the summer and he has been hot and cold on them since de-committing a few weeks later. He has already visited Virginia Tech, Washington and Oregon and has his final trip set up for West Virginia (Dec. 20). Griffin plans on announcing his intentions the Sunday he returns from West Virginia so he does not have much time.

"It's a dead heat right now," Griffin told Tiger Rag. "These are all schools where I feel like I could go in and be a difference-maker on the team. I see that in all of the schools I can choose from. None of them have any shortcomings. These are all top-notch programs. Any of them could win the national championship."
