Asked about his visit to LSU, he said it was probably the best one he's been on so far. "It was like the best one I went on," Griffin noted. "Coach Saban and I have known each other since high school and the defensive backs coach I've known since Alabama. We have a good relationship. It's a good deal."
"It's close to home," Griffin continued, "and that's the same with VT. I can walk in there as a starter. It's the same at almost every school, though."
Griffin was expected to take on more visit - this one to West Virginia. That one won't happen, however.
"I'm not going to do that now," Griffin said. "I'm going to go home, sit down, and make a decision. I'll have a decision on Sunday."
