Blount, Pritchett Suspended

EUGENE – University of Oregon running back LeGarrette Blount and linebacker Terrance Pritchett have been suspended from the Ducks' football program indefinitely, according to head coach Mike Bellotti, for what the school's football coach termed "a failure to fulfill team obligations."

Bellotti said the suspensions will include barring both players for all of the program's football-related activities until further notice.

Blount finished last season as the team's second-leading rusher with 1.002 yards, and broke the school's single-season record for rushing touchdowns with 17.

Pritchett played sparingly in three games last season as a redshirt freshman. He was suspended for two games late last year before subsequently withdrawing from school for the remainder of the fall term. He returned to school in January.
