Johnson "Very Interested" In Oregon
Have you had any contact with Oregon?
"Not any verbal contact, no. Just through letters."
How often do you receive letters from the Ducks?
"On an everyday basis, really."
What would you say your overall interest in Oregon is at this point and why?
"Very interested. One of the top schools on my list. I've watched them play over the years and they're a big team. I don't know too much about the coaches, but I like the quarterback that they have this year [Jeremiah Masoli] and I just see myself fitting in there."
How would you describe yourself as a player?
"A person who works hard and who wants to be better. A person who wants to move on to the next level and become another great player in college football. I want to work hard to get better and that's how I would describe myself."
Would you compare yourself to anyone at the collegiate or professional level?
"No, I wouldn't compare myself to anyone. I just want to work hard and I'll let other people compare me."
What are you looking for in a program?
"Well education comes first and of course [I'd like] playing time and the environment around me. What the school is going to be like and basically when I'm going to get on the field. That's what I'm looking at."
Would you consider taking a trip to Oregon if the coaches were to ask?
"Of course! Of course."
Do you have any offers from other schools and are you waiting for someone in particular to offer?
"I have [an official from] Ole Miss right now. I'm not holding out for anyone, I'm just weighing out my options and seeing what I like. Everybody is even, no leaders right now."
Are you planning on going to any camps this summer?
"Yes sir. I'm not really sure which ones I'm going to go to. I'll have to talk to my coaches about that."
Are you planning on going to any Junior Days?
"I'd like to, but like I said I can't really say [which ones] I'm going to attend yet."
