Barr Holds Oregon Offer
Do you currently hold an offer from the University of Oregon?
"Yes I have."
What kind of contact have you had with Oregon?
"E-mails and letters and I spoke with Coach Bellotti a couple weeks back at my school...[also] I forgot which coach it was, I think was the wide receivers coach [Scott Frost] that came by."
How many times have you met the coaches?
"Just one time."
What would you say your overall interest is in Oregon at this point?
"Right now everything is about even, I have no favorites at the moment. Everything is up for grabs."
What has you interested in the program at Oregon?
"I don't know much about the school itself -- I haven't been up there and I'm hoping I can get up there sometime -- but one thing I do like is, I like the uniforms a lot. They have the nicest uniforms in college football. They change every now and again, but that's probably the thing that I like the most."
How would you describe yourself as a player?
"I'm out there to play hard every down [and] give it my all and I'm going to do what I have to do in order to win."
What position are teams recruiting you at?
"Some schools want me to play running back, some schools want me to play defense. It just depends on the school I guess."
Would you compare yourself to anyone at the collegiate or professional level?
"I don't think so. I mean, I don't compare myself to anyone, I just go out and do what I have to do."
What are you looking for in a program?
"I want to be somewhere where I'm comfortable and where I'm going to enjoy myself for four years and a place where I can get my education and graduate. [Also] a place that will allow me to get to the next level.
What offers do you currently hold from other schools right now?
"Notre Dame, UCLA, USC, Cal, Stanford, Colorado, and Tennessee."
Would you say everyone is even at this point?
"Yeah, for the most part."
Are you planning on going to any camps later this spring or in the summer?
"At the moment I have nothing planned for the summer, but we'll see, I mean it depends on how I'm feeling and what I need to do for school or for my season."
Are you planning on attending any Junior Days?
"Same thing goes for that. I haven't been to any yet. I think there are a couple coming up that I might try and go to."
