Corona Senior High School running back, Jordon James, of Corona, California is one of a tremendously deep class of running backs coming from the state of California in 2010. Blessed with an impressive blend of speed and power, James will likely earn himself a four-star rating when it's all said and done. Already holding an offer from the Ducks, James sat down with eDuck to discuss recruiting.

Do you currently hold an offer from Oregon?


How long ago did Oregon offer you?

"About a month or two ago."

Have you had regular contact with the Oregon coaching staff since then?

"Yeah, I have...I think it's been with the offensive coordinator (Chip Kelly)."

What would you say has you most interested in Oregon?

"[I think] it's a place where I can get early playing time and being able to participate early."

How would you describe yourself as a running back?

"I'm fast, I'm strong, I'm explosive, I can do everything. I can run outside, I can run inside, block, catch, do everything."

Would you compare yourself to anyone at the collegiate or professional level?

"Some people compare me to [Darren] Sproles."

What other offers do you currently hold from other schools?

"I have [offers from] Arizona, Cal, Colorado, Duke, Stanford, Tennessee."

Is anyone leading at this point?

"No, everything is even."

Are you planning on going to any camps or Junior Days?

"Yeah, I think I'm going to go to some...I don't know which ones yet [though]."
