Ratliff Is Ready For Offers

An unsung wide receiver who is ready to burst on to the scene is Bobby Ratliff, from Etiwanda High School in Etiwanda, California. At an imposing 6'3'' 195 lbs, Ratliff doesn't currently hold any official offers, despite also recently running an impressive 4.56 laser timed 40. Ratliff is taking it all in stride though and he sat down with eDuck Sports to discuss recruiting and Oregon.

Have you received an offer yet from Oregon?

Have you had any contact with Oregon?

"Yeah, they send me letters."

Have you had any contact with members of the Oregon coaching staff?

"I went on an unofficial visit and I met the coaches."

When was your unofficial visit?

"Over the summer, I think...last summer."

What's your overall interest in Oregon?

"I'd say it's high...I just like their football team."

How would you describe yourself as a player?

"I think I'm alright. I'm dedicated to playing far in football."

Would you compare yourself to anyone at the collegiate or professional level?

"Nobody comes to mind right now."

What are you looking for in a program?

"I'm looking for a team that passes a lot. Because I play wide receiver, I like more passing than running...and good coaching and a good program."

"I don't have any offers."

What schools have you been hearing from the most?

"I've heard from Cal, I've heard from Minnesota, Michigan...those are all that are mostly sending me letters."

Is anyone really leading for you at this point?

"Well, the first team is Oregon, and it comes Cal after that."

So, if Oregon were to offer, would they be number one for you?

Are you planning on attending any camps later this spring or in the summer?

"ESPN/Nike combine on April 11, the Nike combine on April 19, the Scout.com combine on May 30, and the Nike Oregon camp June 17-21." *Note: Bobby also attended Baron Flenory's Badger Sport 7-on-7 in Las Vegas on March 7-8.
