Tukuafu Ready For Spring

Oregon defensive end Will Tukuafu is the leader of the Oregon defense this year. Last season he was a 13 game starter and finished fifth in the Pac-10 in tackles for loss (17.5) and tied for eighth in sacks (7.5). He was the second leading sackman last year behind Nick Reed and at 25 years of age he has a calm and positive outlook on what the expectations are for his team.

"I know there are a lot of holes to fill (but) guys are moving around and guys want to work," observed Will Tukuafu of the first day of spring practice. "I'm really proud of them."

Last year Tukuafu garnered Pac-10 Honorable Mention honors and there is little doubt that he will be the leader on the field as the Ducks prepare for the upcoming season.

Tukuafu shared some observations of the first day and how things went.
