To Come Up in Late June

Cornerback Terrance Mitchell, 5-11, 175, 4.6, Sacramento (Calif.) Burbank HS, will be in Eugene in late June according to his father Terrance Mitchell, Sr. There have been some indications that Terrance Jr. is very close to accepting an offer to play football for the Oregon Ducks.

"Terrance was committed to a couple of camps this summer in June," respond Terrance Mitchell, Sr. to a text message asking if Terrance, Jr. was going to commit to Oregon. "We talked to Coach (Chip) Kelly and Coach (John) Neal and we are going to come up there in late June to finalize everything and we'll let you know."

Terrance, Jr. had 38 tackles, two interceptions for touchdowns, a forced fumble, 10 breakups and seven touchdowns overall and earned All-Metro First Team honors in 2008 for Sacramento (Calif.) Burbank.

He presently has three other offers from Washington State, Utah and Cal Poly.

Mitchell is a 3-star cornerback ranked No. 21 nationally at his position.
