Green back from Eugene talked with Chad Green Sunday night and the 6-0, 175-pound corner from Van Nuys (Calif.) Birmingham talked about this past weekend's visit to Oregon.

"I had a good time," he said. "There were lots of things to do and we got a chance to talk to a lot of people about the academics there. I would give the trip an 8. It did rain a lot, but that's Oregon. The trip was right up there with Washington."

Parris Moore was Green's host.

"He just told me to get ready to work, to work hard," Chad said of Moore's advice. "He said that there's a lot of work involved in both school and athletics at this level. He just gave me some helpful hints."

Chad didn't commit on his visit, but did say he thought a couple of players did pull the trigger.

"I met some of the guys I was at the CaliForida Bowl with, like Junior Lemau'u and Maurice Drew," Chad said. "And I got to meet some new guys too. I had fun." Green plans on making his decision on January 28th, after his official visit to LSU.
