Defense Shines Again

Speed kills and the Oregon defense had a very fast day again. The Ducks are in the middle of fall camp and on the second day in pads Nick Aliotti's charges made the most of their opportunities.

1. The defense shined once again as their speed dominated in the 11-on-11 drills. The defenders created three turnovers in a span of five plays. Scott Grady had two interceptions while Josh Kaddu put on a display by bursting to get the quarterback.

2. There was a little chipping going on between the offense and defense. Kenjon Barner mixed it up with T.J. Ward, while Remene Alston and Willie Glasper exchanged social amenities.

3. There were some bright spots for the offense today. Quarterback Darron Thomas displayed some good accuracy throwing the ball while Jeffery Maehl looked very sharp for the second day in a row.
