Quarterbacks on the whole were fairly inaccurate today. Jeremiah Masoli, Nate Costa and Darron Thomas could not work themselves into a rhythm, particularly Masoli who ended up throwing two picks when the offense got into the redzone. He was picked off by Scott Grady and Walter Thurmond, both of whom had very a very good day.
Jeffery Maehl was a bright spot on offense by making a number of acrobatic catches, including one in the endzone. The play required Maehl to lay out near the sideline.
Marvin Johnson continued his physical play including a huge hit on Rory Cavaille near the sideline. The hit left Cavaille shaken up and he left the field shortly thereafter. Coach Chip Kelly gave no official word on Cavaille's condition after practice.
(Held out of practice)
Bo Thran - knee
Diante Jackson - knee
LeGarrette Blount - personal
Jamere Holland - quad
Talmadge Jackson - shoulder
Na Derris Ward - first practice of fall camp and was full go with the offensive line.
