Join former Nittany Lion Keith Conlin and company to get geared up for Penn State's big football weekend.

It figures to be a crazy weekend in Happy Valley, what with Michigan visiting the Penn State football team Saturday night and Halloween slated for Sunday.

There is no better way to kick off the action than by attending the FOS Friday Night Tailgate at the Lion's Den in downtown State College.

The event runs from 6-9 p.m. and is hosted by former Nittany Lion offensive tackle Keith "Goon" Conlin. FOS editor Mark Brennan is also on hand every week.

Joining them to talk about the upcoming game and more are fans, former players and various media types.

The Den, with great drink specials, banks of flat screen TVs and pub grub food favorites, is the perfect place to hang out and enjoy the camaraderie.

Hockey fans take note that the Flyers and Penguins will be playing at 7 p.m. Friday, and the game will be on at The Den.

Who is going to be at The Den this week? You never know. So stop by, say hello to Goon and Brennan, and see for yourself.

Not sure how to get to The Den?

It is easy to get to at 118 South Garner Street in downtown State College.
