See what Penn State starting quarterback Matt McGloin had to say about Senior Day, Michigan State, his own progress, Brett Brackett, Devon Smith and more right here.

Matt McGloin fielded questions on Wednesday morning, here is a review of some of his comments from the session.

On playing a ranked team this late in the season:

"Obviously this is a big game for us. MSU is at their best, they are playing well. I think the environment and senior day will help us though; give us a boost emotionally."

On preparing for the Michigan State defense:

"With a defense like Michigan State, you'll have to pick you opportunities to go downfield. We just want to move the chains and keep the ball out of their hands. If we do that we'll be OK."

On the boost frrm special teams play against Indiana:

"It gets everyone excited; fans and players. It really shifted the momentum for us."

On the difference between 7-5 and 8-4:

"Mentally yes, there's a difference. Eight wins is a lot better than seven. But this is also a big game for them, so both teams will be battling."

On what Brett Brackett brings to the offense:

"Brett's a rare player; he's a good person and player. Whatever the coaches ask of him he's going to do it. What makes him special is that he's always there to make a big play, so we're so fortunate to have him (on the team)."

On why the players don;t like being called the term "spoiler":

"I don't know if we like the idea that..."
