Lions Pull Recruiting Shocker

Penn State lands a commitment from standout Michigan lineman Anthony Zettel. Most had him pegged for the Wolverines or Spartans.

TAMPA — Michigan lineman Anthony Zettel is leaving home.

Tuesday, the four-star offensive lineman unexpectedly committed to Penn State.

"Yep, I committed," the U.S. Army All-American said when reached by

Zettel did not have time for an interview. So we will catch up with him for details Wednesday.

Zettel is the ninth member of Penn State's 2011 recruiting class and the second four-star offensive lineman in the group, joining New Jersey standout Angelo Mangiro.
