Donovan Smith, a four-star offensive tackle from Owings Mills (Md), was featured in Saturday's US Army All-American Bowl in San Antonio, Texas. Smith announced he will become a Nittany Lion, joining the Class of 2011.

Smith chose PSU over UCLA and NC State, and eliminated Maryland, Michigan State and Syracuse in late December.

The 6-foot-7, 280-pound prospect talked about Penn State with in recent weeks, saying, "The coaching situation there doesn't bother me regardless if he (Coach Joe Paterno) leaves or not. It is such a high-powered program I don't think they will change that much. Plus, I am not there 100% for football - I am also there for academics."
