Penn State's leading scorer and the No. 2 points-per-game man in the Big Ten has been named first-team All-Conference for the second time in his career. The senior was similarly honored following his sophomore campaign and earned second-team notice as a junior.
Battle, the first player in Big Ten history to register 2,000 points, 600 rebounds and 500 assists, is the Nittany Lions' first two-time first-team All-Big Ten pick.
The only other PSU players to earn first-team notice were John Amaechi (1995), Matt Gaudio (1996), Jarrett Stephens (2000) and Joe Crispin (2001).
Battle finished the regular season with a 20.4 points-per-game average. He won first-team notice from the media and second-team from the coaches this year.
