The Drought is Over

It's official: Penn State is headed to the NCAA Tournament for the first time in a decade.

Penn State is in the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2001.

The Nittany Lions learned of their fate in Indianapolis Sunday, where they lost to Ohio State in the Big Ten Tournament championship. PSU won four straight games -- including three in the tournament -- to advance to their first league title game, and it was obviously enough to lock down the NCAA bid.

The Nittany Lions are a No. 10 seed in the West Region. They open NCAA play against No. 7 seed in Temple on Thursday in Tucson, Ariz.

Stay tuned for more, including the reaction of PSU coach Ed DeChellis.
