"I knew before I went," the linebacker from Catholic Memorial in West Roxbury, Mass., said in a text. "I talked to my family and it's just the best fit and I don't care who else offers me. It's the best fit I can possibly have."
His reaction to big decision? "I am VERY PUMPED," Williams said via text.
And he has something to say to all the congrats he's getting from Nittany Nation — responding with a simple, "Thank you, Thank you."
Williams is visiting Happy Valley until Saturday with his teammate, Armani Reeves, who says his visit so far is going "really well."
