Blue-White Weekend Events

Blue-White Weekend is here and aside from the Penn State scrimmage there are a ton of events to take in to meet fellow PSU fans and former players, talk football and have fun.

There's always a lot happening on Blue-White Weekend, and if you're heading up to Happy Valley here are several events you should take in:

Friday, April 15

Uplifting Athletes Dunk Tank

What: Fourth Annual dunk tank fundraiser for Uplifting Atheltes (which sponsors the annual Lift For Life event) and benefits the Kidney Cancer Association. The dunk tank will feature PSU players (schedule below).

When: Friday, April 15 from 4:30 pm to 7:00 pm

Where: Located in the carnival area outside Beaver Stadium near the main stage.

How: Just show up to dunk you favorite PSU players.

Penn's Civilians Dinner

What: Annual B-W Weekend dinner benefiting Penn's Civilians which is traditionally attended by Penn State "celebs" like Bobby Engram, O.J. McDuffie, Adam Taliaferro and Larry Johnson Sr., and also features an extensive silent auction.

When: Friday, April 15 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm

Where: Ramada Inn State College, 1450 S. Atherton Street, State College, PA 16801

How: Tickets are $70 per seat and can be purchased at the door.

FOS Tailgate Party

What: A great "tailgate" party atmosphere where members can socialize with other fans and some Lion football legends. This event is hosted by former PSU lineman Keith Conlin.

When: Friday, April 15, 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm

Where: The Lion's Den, 118 S. Garner Street, State College, Pa. 16801

How: Just show up, no reservations needed.

Saturday, April 16

Blue-White Breakfast

When:An annual breakfast tradition hosted by former Nittany Lion safety Lee Rubin and The Community Refuge Education Center. This year's brevent will feature Stefen Wisniewski and Leo Wisniewski as the keynotes with former PSU players like Matt Rice, Derrick Williams, Michael Robinson and Jordan Norwood scheduled to attend. The event also features a silent auction with items from Penn State greats.

When: Saturday, April 16, 9:00 am to 11:00 am

Where: Nittany Lion Inn, 200 West Park Avenue, State College, PA 16803

How: Tickets are $25 per seat and available at the door, please email Lee Rubin ( with a count as space is limited.

Fight On State Tent

What: The official Fight On State B-W Weekend tent. Meet some FOS personalities as we hand out free issues of FOS The Magazine, the ONLY full color, glossy magazine covering Penn State athletics.

When: Saturday, April 16, 10:00 am to B-W Game kickoff.

Where: Located in the carnival area outside Beaver Stadium near the main stage.

How: Just stop by, say hi and grab a free issue.
