Reeves Is Top Priority for Lions

Defensive back is an area of dire need for the Penn State recruiting class of 2012, and the coaching staff is beginning to zone in on several top prospects for the job -- including Armani Reeves. The West Roxbury, Mass., standout CB talked to Fight On State about where he stands with Penn State and his summer plans.

Catholic Memorial HS standout Armani Reeves is only nine days away from the end of his junior year, and he already has big plans for the summer.

"I am doing the national 7 on 7 with my Goon Squad team," Reeves said. "And a couple of camps and visits this summer."

One of those visits will be to Penn State, a school that Reeves has high up on his list of favorites.

"I think I will be in the summer just to visit," Reeves said.

The speedy CB prospect has reeled in nearly 20 offers from schools all around the country, but one thing is setting PSU apart from the rest -- the attention from the coaching staff on Reeves recruitment.

"The coaches are really excited," Reeves said. "They say I am their number one priority, and the guy they really want and need to make the class really good."

Reeves has named Penn State as one of the schools in his top-4, along with Michigan, Stanford.
