Breneman Liking Lions

Pa., TE Adam Breneman is emerging as one of the top prospects in the Northeast. Fight On State caught up with the talented tight end about his summer plans and how he feels about the Lions.

Camp Hill, Pa., standout TE Adam Breneman's summer is already pretty busy.

"I have been to Maryland, Alabama Virginia, and Notre Dame," Breneman said. "I am going to Penn State the 26th and 27th."

The Cedar Cliff HS standout has already landed 8 offers from heavy hitters like Alabama, Notre Dame, Maryland, and Michigan.

Even with all the attention, there are other schools that he would love to hear from.

"Getting offers from Penn State, Florida, Miami, and North Carolina would be awesome," Breneman said. "I know its early and I have time, but those offers would be great."

He added, "I know I am definitely going to Penn State camp, I am not sure what other ones yet."

The 6-foot-5, 220 pound prospect has already been in contact with the Lions -- and so far he likes what he has seen.

"I know the coaching staff was very impressed with my tape," Breneman said. "And they said they are going to recruit me hard, but they just don't offer sophomores at Penn State."

He continued, "So I'm looking forward to try to increase my chances of maybe getting an early offer there (during camp.)"

So what's he got to help him stand out from the rest?

"The best part of my game is my ability to be a huge receiving threat," Breneman said. "And being able to stretch the field while being the size of a tight end and a good blocker."

Breneman hopes to show off those talents throughout the summer -- especially during his trip to Happy Valley.
