Lions Offer Golden

The Nittany Lions continue to look to New England talent as they offer Connecticut WR/DB Malik Golden for the Class of 2012.

Originally it took Malik Golden a little while to get a BCS offer, but the 2012 Connecticut wide receiver/defensive back is picking up steam with offers from programs like Boston College, Connecticut, Iowa, Syracuse and now another Big Ten school.

"You can put Penn State as an offer," the 6-foot-1, 185-pound product of Cheshire Academy told Scout. The 6-foot, 185-pound Golden received the offer after attending Penn State's camp this past weekend.

Iowa jumped in as the first BCS offer to Golden when the Hawkeyes came forward in early June. Now the Nittany Lions are hoping Golden follows in the footsteps of Connecticut stand outs Silas Redd and Khairi Fortt who currently don the Blue and White for PSU.

PSU is recruiting Golden as a cornerback. Currently Golden lists his favorites as Penn State, Boston College, UConn and Iowa.
