"Just got off the phone with Coach (Bill) Kenney," Kiley said. "And I have officially accepted my offer as an athlete at Penn State University."
The New Hampton High standout projects as a defensive back in college. He can't wait to get to Penn State.
"They have been my number one school ever since I had the chance to visit," Kiley said. "And to experience the atmosphere last year at the game against Michigan State."
Kiley received an offer from the Nittany Lions just Monday – after putting up a solid performance during their June camp sessions.
"The camp I thought went very well," Kiley said.
And when he got the offer Monday?
"I couldn't say anything for like five minutes," Kiley said. "I was speechless, the feeling was unreal."
One day later, he became the newest commitment in the Lion's Class of 2012.
"I just talked it over with my family," Kiley said. "And they agreed that this opportunity is one that you just can't pass up."
And on a scale of one to 10, Kiley knows exactly where to rate his excitement.
"An 11," he responded enthusiastically.
