Severin on State College

Bay State WR Canaan Severin visited Happy Valley Saturday to see Penn State take on Alabama. He talked to Fight On State about his visit and several other recruits he met.

Worcester Academy (Mass.) WR Canaan Severin made his third trip to Penn State Saturday, and it was perhaps the most memorable.

"Happy Valley was good," Severin said. "It was real different."

Different in a good way?

"The white out was crazy," Severin said. "The first five minutes of the game, the place was rocking!"

Severin enjoyed the game as much as he enjoyed meeting several 2012 PSU commits.

"I met both Eugene Lewis and Nyeem Wartman," Severin said. "And Armani Reeves and Camren Williams."

He added, "We were laughing and cracking jokes the whole time."

Severin has narrowed down his list to five – Penn State, Virginia, Iowa, Boston College and Connecticut. And the 6-foot-4, 210-pound wideout is getting close to a decision.

"This week I am scheduling when I am going to announce my commitment," Severin said.
