Severin Ready to Decide

Worcester Academy WR Canaan Severin has set a date to decide. He talked to Fight On State about which schools he will choose from and when he will decide.

Worcester Academy (Mass.) WR Canaan Severin is ready to make his college decision.

"I'm deciding on Monday," Severin said.

A decision he is both excited and nervous about.

"I'm choosing between Penn State, Virginia, and Boston College," Severin said.

Each of which has their own distinct advantages for the Worcester, Mass., standout. Beginning with in-state school Boston College.

"Boston College is close to home," Severin said. "And I've built a good relationship with a lot of the people there, and they were the first to offer me."

Another school high on his list is Virginia.

"I also have a strong relationship with the whole staff at Virginia," Severin said. "Their Head Coach London is truly an inspirational guy, and someone you want to be around."

And also in his top three -- Penn State.

"And Penn State those games are crazy," Severin said. "The Alabama game was crazy, 110,000 fans yelling in Happy Valley, when your there on the sidelines it's like all your dreams come true."

Severin will announce his decision at 12:30 Monday afternoon.
