Brown Hearing From Lions

2013 Brookfield HS (Conn.) quarterback prospect Boeing Brown is beginning to see his recruitment heat up. He talked to Fight On State about his interest in the Lions, what he is looking for in a school, and more.

2013 Brookfield HS (Conn.) signal caller Boeing Brown has been hearing from plenty of top schools already.

"Schools that I am hearing from now are Connecticut, Penn State, South Carolina, NC State, Vanderbilt, Northwestern, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan State, Duke, Temple, and Wisconsin," Brown said.

He added, "I am very keen on Big Ten, SEC and Connecticut."

And as for Penn State, Brown has already formed good relationships with several coaches.

"I am very close to Coach Buggs and Coach Jay Paterno at Penn State," Brown said.

Brown is very interested in the Lions – and was scheduled to visit for the Illinois game.

"I had started out on Saturday with my Dad to visit PSU vs Illinois," Brown said. "But an hour or two into the drive in the morning hours, we hit first snow and we turned around just in time.

He added, "So I am now scheduled to visit for the Nebraska game and looking forward to it."

Brown is looking to learn more about Penn State as a whole on Saturday.

"I want to be a History Major and either minor or do another degree in coaching." Brown said. "My overall goal is to work to make the NFL, hopefully hard work will pay off."

And that, is just another thing that will play into Brown's eventual college decision.

"That is another important part of my selection," Brown said. "Finding an opportunity to play for a coaching staff that can help align next level opportunities is important, clearly PSU, South Carolina, even Connecticut coaching staffs can help do that."
