Astorino Tackles Fan Honor

Penn State safety Drew Astorino is named the Player of the Wisconsin Game by Nittany Lion fans.

With a team-high 12 tackles, 10 of which were solo, senior safety Drew Astorino was voted the Player of the Wisconsin Game by Penn State fans.

Astorino edged out Anthony Fera with 39 percent of the vote to Fera's 32 percent. Fera had five punts (two inside the 20), two kickoffs, was one-for-one on extra points.

The Fight On State Player of the Game honor is the first and only award given to Penn State players by Penn State fans. Voting is conducted exclusively on FightOnState.com after every PSU football game.
