New York City STATE of Mind?

See which coaches who have been mentioned as possible replacements for Joe Paterno were at the College Football Hall of Fame ceremony in the Big Apple Tuesday night.

The National Football Foundation's Annual Awards Dinner was held in New York Tuesday night.

Monday and Tuesday were key times for college football programs with open coaching jobs to show up in the Big Apple, as many current coaches attended the ceremony and were available for POSSIBLE interviews.

In all, more than 20 current coaches were introduced at the ceremony. Here are some who have been mentioned in connection (to one degree or another) with the Penn State job.

Simply being in New York did not mean any of the coaches below interviewed with PSU, just that they had the opportunity to do so. Likewise, there are coaches who were not in attendance who are said to be in the mix.
