MEDIA DAY: News and Notes

The Nittany Lions opened up practice for the media on Monday to get an update on the squad as they prepared form Media Day.

The doors to Holuba Hall were opened up on Monday as Penn State held their Bowl Media Day. During the session interim head coach Tom Bradley addressed the media, answering questions on Matt McGloin, saying he apologized and took full responsibility for the altercation that occurred this past weekend with Curtis Drake.

McGloin's status is "day-today" at this point with Rob Bolden taking First-Team reps at quarterbacks and Shane McGregor heading up the Second-Team work. Bradley also indicated that Paul Jones is eligible to see action in the bowl game on January 2. Jones is currently seeing Scout Team reps for the team.

As FOS broke this weekend, Bolden had a "minor" legal issue, which Bradley clarified during the session, callling it a "prank" that went awry. He indicated that there would be no discipline for Bolden related to the incident.

Bradley also discussed the Houston offense and the academic state of the squad, among other topics.
