Reeves Talks Plans

Four-star Catholic Memorial DB had the chance to talk to new Penn State head coach Bill O'Brien Sunday. FOS finds out where he stands and his first impressions.

On Sunday night, Catholic Memorial HS (Mass.) DB Armani Reeves got the chance to chat with new Penn State head football coach Bill O'Brien for the first time.

"The call with Coach O'Brien was good," Reeves said. "He was very energetic and real positive."

He added, "And just really excited to talk to me. We talked for a while."

The feeling he gets from the Lions' new hire?

"I get a good feeling," Reeves said. "But I still want to be safe, you know?"

Even though Reeves is planning on taking several visits, he has a few choice words about his recruiting status.

"I'm still committed (to Penn State)," Reeves said.

One of the schools that he will visit is Michigan, which made his top three prior to his commitment to the Lions.

"I'm visiting Michigan this weekend," Reeves said. "And giving Penn State my last visit."

And maybe one more school between?

"I'm probably going to visit Ohio State, too."

Reeves' plan is to visit Michigan, Ohio State, and Penn State on consecutive weekends before signing day.

But that's not it – Reeves is also in the middle of basketball season.

"We are 6-1," Reeves said. "And looking for a playoff run."

And in the meantime?

"I'm just visiting and enjoying my time with recruiting," Reeves said. "And seeing exactly what different schools have to offer."
