Reeves On In-Home

One of the top remaining targets in the 2012 Penn State Class, defensive back Armani Reeves talks about his in-home visit with the new PSU staff.

First impressions last a life time.

2012 Penn State targets defensive back Armani Reeves and linebacker Camren Williams were able to make theirs tonight after PSU Defensive Coordinator Ted Roof, DB coach John Butler, and LB coach Ron Vanderlinden stopped by for an in-home visit.

"The visit was good," Reeves said. "It went pretty well."

All-in-all, a positive first impression for the Catholic Memorial High prospect.

"The coaches were cool," Reeves said. "They were very energetic and straight forward."

The West Roxbury, Mass., defensive standout elaborated on his visit even more in a chat held Monday night on Fight On State.

"Coach Roof is guy who will get the best and everything you have out of you," Reeves said during Monday's chat. "Because he's the type of guy that is so intense it just rubs off onto you."

Reeves continued, "Coach Butler is very intense, passionate about his job, and doing it to the best of his abilities."

Reeves continues his busy week on Wednesday with a visit to Ohio State, then plans to visit Penn State with Williams on January 27th to round out his official visits.
