Anyone in need of an offensive lineman?  If so, head to New Jersey because the Garden State certainly has one of the deepest groups in the country.  One of the best may be 6'6'', 285 pound Elizabeth HS lineman, Carlos Feliciano.

Carlos, not to be mistaken with his namesake from Egg Harbor HS, plays right tackle, right guard, defensive tackle, and defensive end for Elizabeth.

Right now many of the schools recruiting him are unsure of which position Carlos best fits when he enters college.

"It's about half and half right now for defense and offense," said Carlos, who projects as a offensive tackle or defensive tackle.

But which schools are after Carlos and have any extended scholarship offers?

"It adds up to thirteen, offical-like that they sent the paper to me," said Carlos, who listed Ohio State, Maryland, Iowa, North Carolina, Wisconsin, Virginia, Syracuse, South Carolina, UConn, West Virginia, Pittsburgh, Rutgers, Boston College as his offers.  "Then I've got verbals, but I really don't count them."

"I talked to them at school and they said we'd be offering you and will have the paper up, but they haven't come," said Carlos about his verbals from Notre Dame, Clemson, and Penn State.

What exactly have the Nittany Lions told Carlos about them offering him a scholarship?

"They want me to go meet Paterno and then he'll give me the offer there in person," said Carlos, who expects to make a visit to State College.   "I was going to go (soon) because my coaches are going to the camp up there and they wanted me to go.  But I think I'm going to take an unofficial visit later on in the summer."

Currently, Carlos ranks Maryland, Boston College, Virginia, Iowa, and Pittsburgh as his top schools, but what is his interest in the Nittany Lions?

"It's high.  If I do get the offer it will definitely be high," Carlos stated.

Currently though, it seems like Virginia and Maryland may be in the driver's seat, both having offered and received an unofficial visit from Carlos.

He visited Maryland earlier this year.  Did he enjoy what the Terps had to offer?

"It was good.  It was an academic day so they showed us the facilities, a lot of classrooms, and we met up with some teachers.  It was a nice little visit," said Carlos.

With a couple of visits already down, does Carlos have any other visits planned?

"I don't have anything planned yet, but I do want to get up to Boston College, Pittsburgh, and hopefully Penn State," explained Carlos.  "I don't really want or need to stay close to home, but I don't think I'm going to be driving real far to take unofficial visits.  I would definitely like to visit Ohio State and Iowa but I don't think it's going to happen (with an unofficial)."

It does not appear that Carlos will be making his decision soon, allowing him time to see some of the schools on his list.

"I really haven't even narrowed my list down, so I might say I'll make my decision in January," admitted Carlos.  "I think I'm going to ride it out."
