Johnson Picks Penn State

When Dorian Johnson left University Park after making a visit to Penn State with his family Saturday, he wanted to talk to his high school coach the next day. After that discussion, his decision became official: Johnson committed to Penn State Sunday night.

The four-star offensive tackle from Belle Vernon (Pa.) High is the 12th player to commit for the Nittany Lions' Class of 2013.

Dorian Johnson's race came down to Penn State and Pitt, but Ohio State made a late push as Johnson was there a couple of weeks prior to his final visit to Happy Valley.

Ultimately, though, the 6-foot-6, 275-pounder's connection to the Nittany Lion staff and the previous 2013 commits was too strong for other suitors to overcome.

Stayed tuned to for more.
