FOS TV: Meet Anthony Zettel

The redshirt freshman talks about making the move from defensive tackle to end and much more in our one-on-one interview. See what he had to say.

Shortly after wrapping up spring practice, Penn State redshirt freshman Anthony Zettel was told he'd be making the position change he had been hoping from -- from defensive tackle to defensive end.

More recently, when projected starting end Pete Massaro was slowed by a sore knee the last couple of weeks of training camp, Zettel suddenly became a more prominent figure in the rotation at the position.

Massaro likes what he has seen.

“Zettel actually reminds me of myself in my younger days,” Massaro said. “He's really quick off the ball, he has a great first step. I think he's gonna be a great player.”

We caught up with Zettel for a one-on-one interview at PSU Media Day not so long ago, and asked about the position change, being an undersized defensive tackle, his decision to stay at Penn State and more.
