Senior middle linebacker Glenn Carson is the most experienced member of the Penn State defense. We caught up with him recently to tackle a variety of pressing topics.
Check out what he had to say in the video above.
In the meantime, here is a taste of what he had to say:
On team leadership.
I think we've got a lot of great leaders on our team that are looking to step up and take that role.
On new defensive coordinator John Butler.
We're all familiar with him. He's a familiar face. We're not gonna change things up a whole ton. We're light years ahead of where we were last spring.
On the mood of the team compared to last spring.
We're just ready to play football with a lot less distractions.
On Mike Hull.
He got a lot of playing time last year and I think he's one of the guys who, even though he's a little younger, is looking to take on more of a leadership role. He's a great player for us.
On Nyeem Wartman.
He's an athletic kid. He knows how to play the game. He's the kind of kid who can go in there -- he has some confidence, so he can definitely get the job done.
On Gary Wooten.
Gary's doing a really good job focusing in on and taking care of things that he needs to do this spring. I'm seeing a lot of focus. I can tell that he really wants to get better.
