B-W Game: First-Team Reps

See which Nittany Lions were working with the starters in Penn State's annual Blue-White Game at Beaver Stadium Saturday.

So who received first-team reps in Penn State's Blue-White Game at Beaver Stadium?

We tracked every play in the first half and believe we have a pretty good feel for things. Below, you will find every player we spotted with the first-team offense and defense in the first and second quarters (the ones that matter most).

When there are multiple players at a given position, we list them in the order they took the field with the first team.

As a bonus, we also list everyone we saw who received second-team reps on offense and defense in the first half. Again, we list them in order of appearance.

Note that this is not necessarily a depth chart, per se. You will see what we mean when you get to the second-team.

At quarterback, for example, Steven Bench was the initial first-teamer, followed up by Tyler Ferguson. But Bench also received second-team reps, after Ferguson.

Likewise, at left offensive tackle, Donovan Smith was the initial first-teamer, followed by Eric Shrive. They flip-flopped on the second team.

Also, note that several key players, including a handful of projected starters, skipped the game for precautionary reasons. They are listed at the bottom of the story.
