Jones Tackles EMU POG Honor

Penn State senior defensive tackle DaQuan Jones is tabbed Player of the Game from the Nittany Lions' victory over the Eagles.

DaQuan Jones had another big showing up front for the Penn State defense with nine tackles, two tackles for loss and a sack. The massive inside defender disrupted the pocket throughout the day for the second time this season.

Jones ended up with an impressive 45 percent of the vote, beating out freshman quarterback Christian Hackenberg who ended up in second place with 27 percent of the vote thanks to his freshman PSU record 311 yards.

On the season Jones is third in the Big Ten in total tackles with 18 and tied for sacks with two. He is the only defensive lineman in the Top 10 tacklers in the conference thus far.
